When I started my #FollowFriday series, my pool of candidates was limited to women I knew well from my network.
(Side note…how lucky am I to know so many incredible women? And we’ve only just scratched the surface!)
Recently I expanded beyond my immediate sphere, and sought nominations for amazing women to feature. The response has been incredible!
Today, I’m thrilled to feature Tahisha Fugate, MBA [she/her], Sr. Manager, DEI Client Development at Orrick. I received Tahisha’s nomination from Jacqueline Madarang almost instantly. And then *another* nomination from Rob Kates!
Clearly she is a woman who has made an impact.
Tahisha bridges the gap between intentional Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion efforts and Marketing+BD. She is proud of the fact that she has carved out a path and found the job of her dreams after working for several years with a laser focus. Now, her beliefs are aligned with her role and she is fulfilled by the work she is doing.
Tahisha and I both like to be the person with the answer: we want to be the one you come to when you need to know the right path, the best person to ask, or how to connect the dots.
She is passionate & kind and I am so thrilled to be able to call her a friend.
