I met someone recently whom I can best describe as a bright light: an engaging, warm, brilliant woman whose name I had heard for years, but our paths never crossed.

I heard the name “Indira” for years, working with Kelly Breslin Enache. They were, after all, law school roommates! And for years I heard stories of this amazing firebrand who led with passion and integrity, and who was always taking on new and exciting challenges.
That isn’t even the half of it.
In her current role as Compliance Officer at Essity, she is responsible for independently implementing and driving the Essity compliance program for entities in the US, Canada, and Latin America.
During our chat, we talked about the excitement of building something new from the ground up, building trust with your team, the importance of diversifying your experience and taking on new challenges, and the intricacies of managing an international brand and understanding cultural differences.
My face hurt from smiling so much by the time we were done talking!
