The number of things I want to share with you about today’s #FollowFriday feature significantly exceed the character limit, but here goes nothing.
I need you to meet JC Finley. For a lot of reasons.
1. You will never meet someone more genuinely interested in fostering connections and building communities around shared experiences.
Caitie, as I’ve known her since we went to Georgetown Visitation together in the late ’90s, is the tie that binds many of our class of 2000 alumnae together. She keeps us up to date, involved, and connected. Which is really special given the unique and life-changing experience I had in HS at Visi.
2. You will never meet someone who better embodies the power of “yes” better than Caitie does. She has seen opportunities in front of her that have taken her off her original path, and tried new things that have led her down the MOST AMAZING and COOLEST career journey.
3. You will never meet someone who creates more positivity around her everywhere. I know I didn’t appreciate this super power of hers when we were in HS, but I so appreciate it now. She is a bright, inclusive presence and her smile and warmth can make anyone feel at ease around her.
I’ve been following along with Caitie’s career on various social media platforms over the years and I was overjoyed recently when she agreed to let me schedule a Zoom to reconnect and dive into her story just a little bit.
So for all those reasons and countless others: Meet JC Finley. She is quite simply an amazing woman.
