Angela holds the position of Director of Behavioral Sciences and Associate Medical Director of Community and Practice-Based Research within the Department of Family Medicine. She is an esteemed faculty member of the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) and serves as an Assistant Professor at The University of South Florida School of Medicine.
Aligned Coaching and Consulting LLC is Angela’s brainchild, focusing on empowering women to build successful careers and organizations to develop career cultures that foster mental health and well-being. Her consulting services cater to addiction and behavioral health.
Angela is a member of the Pennsylvania Advisory Council for Substance Use. In this role, she provides counsel to Governor Josh Shapiro and Secretary of Drug and Alcohol Programs Dr. Latika Davis-Jones on substance use issues prevalent within the Commonwealth.
With a wealth of clinical experience spanning research, education, clinical supervision, and professional counseling, she possesses the expertise required to address a diverse range of co-occurring disorders. Her work is both a personal and professional calling, having grown up in West Virginia.
