When Ashley Gibbs says, “You’ve got to meet this person,” you know you’re about to meet a gem of a human.
Which is how I felt preparing to meet today’s #FollowFriday feature: Valerie Pennacchio.
Valerie is a bright, articulate, big-picture thinker who knows how to create opportunities and chart a course toward success.
When I first met Valerie, she was Manager – Practice Advisors at Litera, a role she carved out for herself after joining the company mid-pandemic as a transactional advisor. Putting her years of law practice to use, Valerie leveraged her experience to lead a team of subject matter experts who combined deep product knowledge and industry experience to help prospects and current customers understand the value of Litera’s tools as it pertains to their unique workflows.
Flash forward to September 2022, and Valerie is now the Manager of Practice Innovation at Kirkland and Ellis, where she will again use her experience and skills to deliver innovative solutions and legal technologies that help attorneys get further, faster in their practice of law.
In her role, Valerie applies project management, business process improvement and innovation methodologies to deliver attorney-facing process and technology solutions that further enable the practice of law.
Valerie is a strong networker and an extreme extrovert. She is always looking for opportunities to connect. And Ashley was right — she’s an amazing person to know and I’m so fortunate to include her in my network now!
