It’s #followfriday time! Today I highlight another amazing female executive, Kim Wismer. Kim has been the Chief Information Officer at Ballard Spahr LLP for nearly a decade, and has served the firm in various information technology roles for as long as Legal Internet Solutions Inc. has been in business!
Kim is a beacon of light in our industry and her profession. When you consider only 11% of CIO’s are female, according to Gartner, to know one who is so innovative, collaborative, and dedicated to her staff…it’s like encountering one in a million. I had the opportunity to work with Kim on a number of strategic initiatives during my time at Ballard. She was always poised, professional, thorough, thoughtful, and dedicated to achieving success as a team. I loved, and more importantly appreciated, working with Kim.
Kim was recently recognized by PhillyCIO as the 2020 Large Corporate recipient of their distinguished #ORBIE award.
On a personal note, Kim has been a voice of reason for me. Kim’s wisdom and guidance helped steer me through a very difficult time in my career. She is kind and generous, funny, and fun to be around. She is the real deal — truly one in a million in so many ways.
