What’s the difference between a provider and a doctor?

The relationship.

I’ve been lucky to have a great relationship with my doctor, Lauren Rosen for nearly 20 years (😳!!) and that is why she is today’s #FollowFriday feature.

I grew up going to army doctors — a different one each year with no personal relationship. And, don’t get me wrong, I got great care. But it was handled more with military precision than with kid gloves.

So when I graduated college and decided to stay in the Philadelphia area, I sought a doctor I could form a relationship with.

Enter: Doctor Rosen.

When we first met, Dr. Rosen was probably in the stage of life that I am in now: relatively young children, trying to figure out how to juggle all the things a demanding career and family life require.

As she said to me recently, it is kind of like we’ve grown up together.

For two decades, she has done more than treat me. She has learned about my life, my family, my ambitions. She’s been with me through all the family ups and downs. She was the first one to wish me congratulations when I found out I was pregnant with my first heathen. She’s been right there with me through pretty much everything.

And now Dr. Rosen is embarking on the next phase of her professional journey, a membership medicine practice focused on whole-being health and wellness. Because what matters most to her is her patients and her relationships with them.

Dr. Rosen is a woman who people respond to. She is warm, caring, compassionate, supportive, and involved. I am so grateful for her counsel and her friendship!!

Meet Dr. Lauren Rosen. She’s a woman who makes a difference!
